it is a new nitrogen and calcium compound fertilizer with characteristics of high efficieny and quickly make-up nitroge, applied in greenhouse and large-area farmland.

    Properties and applications:

1.It is white or grey granular which dissolves in water absolutely .It is a new type high-efficient compound fertilizer .

2.It contains nitrogen and calcium ,and also supplies nitrogen to plant quickly .The nutrient is more than ammonium nitrate ,and can be absorbed by the plant directly .This product is a neutral fertilizer and can improve the quality of soil .

3.It can change the PH value of the soil ,loosen the soil ,reduce the density of active aluminium .Meanwhile ,it offers water soluble calcium and improve the resistance to the disease of plant .

4.It can lengthen the florescence ,promote the root, stem, leaf to grow normally .Ensuring the color of the fruit is bright and the fruit candy can be increased.

    Function:

1.Intended for application in the fertiliser, agricultural and horticultural industries.

Importance of Calcium & Nitrogen in plant growth.

2.Calcium and Nitrogen are two of the most important elements for fruit growth

Nitrogen is essential in all plant processes and is a key component of protein and chlorophyll.

3.Calcium is necessary for proper functioning of growing points and is essential in the formation of cell walls. It also has an important role in Nitrogen metabolism.

4.Calcium has a major effect on prolonging the storage life of fruit and vegetables and is a key element in fruit quality.

    5.Calcium deficiency symptoms include:

Stunted root system, yellowing and weakening of stem tips and leaves

Leaf margin browning of green vegetables and loss of flowers and young fruit.

Blossom end rot in tomatoes and capsicums and bitter pit in apples.

Nitrogen deficiency will result in yellowing of vegetation, slow growth and delayed maturity.

Benefits of using Calcium Nitrate Granular

1.Calcium Nitrate is a soluble granule ideal for use in fertigation and broadcasting.

2.Calcium Nitrate supplies both Nitrogen and Calcium which are both essential for quality and optimum yield of horticulture crops.

3.Nitrate nitrogen in Calcium Nitrate is readily available while the ammonium nitrogen is available more slowly.

4.High level of Calcium present in Calcium Nitrate results in non-acidifying conditions in acid soils.

5.Calcium nitrate contains a high percentage of nitrate-nitrogen, which makes this one of the most cost effective nitrate-nitrogen sources for fertigation. This product is ideal for glasshouse and outdoor fertigation programmes. When applied as a solid, there is no risk of losing any of the N as ammonia gas due to all the nitrogen being in the nitrate form.

6.This product can be used as a solid fertiliser for side dressing to high value horticultural crops such as market gardens and berryfruit crops.

7.As this product is highly soluble, it can also be used for fertigation as a source of calcium and nitrate-nitrogen for high value horticultural crops.

8.The nitrate-nitrogen is immediately available for plant uptake, while the calcium is provided in a readily soluble form. Some pipfruit growers also use Calcium Nitrate as a source of calcium for the first two foliar applications in November, followed by several applications of Calcium Chloride, to help reduce the incidence of bitter pit, a calcium deficiency disorder in apples.
